Assembly Pontificates While People Die

The Conservative Party in Northern Ireland has launched a scathing attack on Assembly Members who gathered at Stormont to discuss equal marriage and abortion claiming people are dying on waiting lists due to the failure of the parties to take office in an Executive.

Northern Ireland (Ministerial Appointments and Regional Rates) Bill

The Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Rt Hon James Brokenshire MP, has introduced legislation which would set a Regional Rate for Northern Ireland in 2017-18 as well as providing an extension to the period in which a new Executive could be formed.
